The latest version of all the iDevice’s software will be available for download in just a couple of hours and Apple is ensuring us that they have taken necessary steps to make it safe for us to install the latest update.

iOS 8, the previous version of the software was dubbed as Apple’s buggiest release ever and people are going crazy ranting on the internet on how it messed up their devices after updating. With that said, Apple used early developers as test monkeys to use the beta of the iOS 9 to make sure that the official release will be safe and smooth. And true to what developers expected, the beta version had a lot of bugs and problems.

Given that they have fixed this already, should we download the latest operating system as soon as it is released?

Well, iOS 9 is a lot more smaller than its previous version – it only requires 1.3 gigabytes of free space so it would be easier to update. There are a lot of improvements and features that would entice you to immediately press that update button.

So if you’re worried about it and you use your iPhone as your main phone, you might want to wait at least a week because Apple will immediately release a patch for possible bugs in the first week. Also, you might want to check out the social media to check if the latest update is stable.

After all, it won’t kill you to wait for a week and you don’t want problems in using your iPhone.
