After rolling out their public Wi-Fi in all of the 13 stations in the MRT-3 line, Smart Communications further expands their public Wi-Fi service to add five stations in the LRT-1 namely: Abad Santos, Pedro Gil, Gil Puyat, UN Avenue, and R. Papa.

“As our nationwide rollout of #SmartWiFi goes on full swing, this deployment along the LRT-1 is yet another step forward in our efforts to make world-class Internet connectivity to more and more people,” said Smart Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Juan Victor Hernandez.

Smart, Sun, and TNT subscribers may convert regular load to Wi-Fi subscriptions with WIFI10 (30 minutes), WIFI20 (2 hours), or WIFI50 (10 hours) to 9991.

#SmartWiFi is available to all mobile subscribers. Users will have 30 minutes of free access to the Internet without any data cap. To extend the usage, non-Smart subscribers would need to purchase from partner retailers in denominations of PhP 20 for two hours for two days or PhP 50 for 10 hours for five days.

All denominations do not have any data caps within the subscription period.
