Slated for release within the week, the Vivo V9 is the company’s venture into the world of notched displays and AI-powered computing. Despite its inevitable release, however, a social media post has been spotted showing the price of the upcoming Vivo V9 at PhP 17,990; the same as the original SRP of the Vivo V7+.
Vivo India has also posted the official specs of the Vivo V9 ahead of its launch on its website. The V9 will come with a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera on its rear. Front imaging is handled by a 24MP camera that features AI Face Beautification, which allows the camera to perform gender detection, face beauty video, as well as slow motion.
The V9 will ship out with Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0. Inside the V9 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3,260mAh. Meanwhile, the notched display is 6.3-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080. The smartphone will come with Pearl Black and Gold color options once it’s launched into the market.
