The Sony Float Run is coming to the Philippines. It is made specifically for cyclists and runners for a comfortable and stable experience without compromising sound experience but without touching the ear canal. This leaves the ears uncovered for safety and comfort while outside.
The Float Run offers functional features to runners including a lightweight design with a flexible neckband. Whether for a quick jog or an extensive run, your music can stay with you to keep you going. Its pressure-free design that sits off the ears eliminates the worry of sweat and chafing. As for cyclists, Sony promises a comfortable fit even with a bicycle helmet on.
Its 16mm drivers promises natural and wider sound without compromising quality while still weighing in at only 33g. The company says that its open-type design eliminates the sounds your body makes like footsteps, chewing, or heavy breathing and allows ambient sound in.
A variety of controls is built in like playback and access to smartphone assistants. There is also a microphone to make calls while outside. It is IPX4 water-resistant and Sony says it can be used up for up to 10 hours of playtime with 10 minutes of charging giving you an hour of play.
The Sony Float Run is priced at PhP 7,999 in the Philippines. It will be available at select Sony Authorized Dealers nationwide starting April 7, 2023.
