A post on Weibo claims that Sony will use Japan Display’s bezelless 6-inch touchscreen dubbed as Full Active. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080. It’s rumored that Sony will unveil the upcoming flagship at IFA 2017 on August 31.
Despite its non-standard aspect ratio, both Samsung and LG have used a taller aspect ratio in both the Galaxy S8 and S8+, and G6, respectively. No details have been said about the specifications of the phone but it would probably have 6 – 8GB of RAM on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 or 821 chipset.
