4K is not a fad, it’s the future. 4K resolution started on TVs then on monitors and a few hours ago at IFA, Sony unveiled their first Phone running a 4K dsiplay, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.
The newest addition to Sony’s mobile phone line-up, the Xperia Z5 Premium will sport the metal rim and nylon corners on the side for protection. It will be equipped with a 5.5 inch screen with 3840 x 2160 resolution and 806dpi sharpness. On the other hand, the rear, primary camera will be a 23MP camera with .03 autofocus. Wow! Sony firmly believes that this would lead the smartphone pack in terms of quality and experience.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will pack a 3430mAH battery, but given that it will have to power a 4K screen; I doubt that it would even last a day. Last but not the least, Sony is finally bringing in a fingerprint scanner with this phone. The Xperia Z5 Premium is also waterproof and dust proof phone.
It looks as if Sony through everything they had on this phone, I’ll bet that this has the Walkman DNA all over it as well. But what do we do with a 4K resolution on a phone? No price have been revealed but it might be on a price range that will destroy your wallet.
