Sony has just unveiled the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra in CES 2018. Aiming to bolster their mid-range offerings, both smartphones comes with the company’s Exmor image sensors and their almost trademark minimalistic design.

Sony Xperia XA2

The Sony Xperia XA2 is packed with Sony’s 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS mobile image sensor that supports up to a sensitivity of ISO 12800 for better low-light photography. The XA2 is can record 4K videos while you can also decrease the resolution for a 120fps slow motion video capture. As for selfies, the XA2 has a 120° wide-angle camera at the front so you can fit more subjects in your selfies.

Inside the Xperia XA2 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 with 3GB of RAM and internal storage, all powered by a 3,300mAh battery with quick charging. The display is a 5.2-inch FullHD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Here are its full specs:

Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra

The Xperia XA2 Ultra shares much of the same specs with the XA2. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 with 4GB of RAM running on Android 8.0 Oreo. The XA2 Ultra has an upgrade screen with 6.0-inch FullHD Display.

The XA2 Ultra comes with 16MP f/2.0 + 8MP dual front cameras. The secondary 8MP is the same 120° wide-angle camera as its little brother. Of course, the smartphone is also capable of 4K and 120fps video recording.

No price has been announced yet for the Sony XA2 and XA2 Ultra, however, they are expected to hit the market this February 2018.
