The easiest way to get Armoury Data is to kill mini-bosses and bosses. In Operations, you and your team get to encounter mini-bosses randomly as you progress the map. Defeat this bosses to get a chance for Armoury Data to drop. Note that you do not need to pick up anything. Upon defeat, the game grants you and your team the data automatically. Also note that you have to be there when you defeat the boss and finish the mission to get the reward. You can refer to our Armoury Data farming guide to know more.
Another method of acquiring Armory Data is to explore the nooks and crannies of a map. These locations are random and are different per run. Be sure to always search and go around the map to look for these things. It is also important to note that you can take home more than one Armoury Data, so be sure to look for them even after you defeat a boss!
Armoury Data rarity is affected by the difficulty of the Operation that you are playing. The harder the operation, the rarer the Armoury Data. If you are aiming for rarer and higher-tier weapons, best handle Operations on higher difficulty.
To unlock a weapon’s next level, you must continue to use it in Operations and do missions with it. The more you use it, the more experience you get. Once you get an Armoury Data and you have unlocked the weapon’s next tier via experience points, you can now spend Armoury Data to unlock a weapon’s next tier.
Aside from unlocking new weapon tiers, Armoury Data allows you to instantly master a weapon. This nets you with a Mastery point that you can allocate on perks to passively add stats or skills when you equip a weapon.
Armoury Data allows you to unlock better weapons in the game. As you progress, it is expected that you deal with hardier foes and more difficult encounters. Upgraded weapons allow you to scale up and deal with these threats as they provide substantial advantages and stats compared to the base weapons. Make sure to earn them when you can and look for them when doing Operations!
