Differences Between Space Marine 2 Editions

Space Marine 2 Editions

There are four different editions of the game: Standard, Gold, Ultra, and Collector’s Edition. All editions, except the Collector’s Edition are available in most parts of the world. Collector’s Edition of Space Marine 2 are limited to specific regions and you might be hard-pressed to find a copy of your own depending on where you reside. Here in the Philippines, it may be quite hard to get one of your own. Take note of each edition’s offering and make a decision on which one to get before September 9.

Pre-Order Bonuses

As usual, Space Marine 2 offers a couple of goodies if you secure a copy of yours before the release of the game. Pre-purchasing the game also allows you to pre-load a few days before the eventual “true” release date of the game, allowing you to immediately play once the flood gates open. Note that you can pre-order the digital copy of Space Marine 2 up until September 8.

For Space Marine 2, the pre-order (pre-purchase) bonuses are the following:

Macragge’s Chosen DLC

Macragge's Chosen

Macragge’s Chosen DLC is a collection of Ultramarine-themed items that you can equip in-game. These include: an Ultramarine-themed Bolt Rifle, an Ultramarine-themed Chainsword, and the Crux Terminatus Pauldron. This bonus DLC is available to all editions provided that you pre-order the Space Marine 2.

4-Day Early Unlock

Although September 9 is the official release date of the game, you can play the game once September 6 hits. Note that this early unlock bonus is only available if you pre-order either the Gold or the Ultra Edition of Space Marine 2.

Where to Pre-Order

Probably the easiest way is to go to your platform’s online store. If you own a number of platforms and would like an easy way to see which one to buy, then I suggest that you visit Focus Entertainment’s online store for an overall view of all editions in each platform.
