This error keeps the user stuck in a perpetually looping loading screen with joining server written at the bottom. As the player cannot connect to the server, the player is kept in this state. You cannot do anything in-game as this is a loading screen and what you can only do is wait.
From experience, this only happens if the player is a member of a party. This error did not occur to me or any of my friends when we were playing alone or on our own.
The simplest way of getting around this is to simply get kicked from the party by the leader. Once the leader loads into the Battle Barge, ask the leader to kick you from the team. Once done and after a few seconds, expect the loading to resume. Note that you will load without a party but you can quickly rejoin.
Unfortunately, if you do not have any form of communication with the party leader, say a random, you are forced to restart the game to play again. Worry not though as we found that you get to keep the spoils of your previous mission (provided that you won) once you log back in.
