Infiltrator: A Vanguard Space Marine specialises in liquidating vital targets in furious, close-range combat.

Vanguard specializes in closing in on enemies with their Grapnel Launcher, getting to them to melee range. This class specializes in explosive close encounters with high damage output and maneuverability.

Similar to the Assault Class, the Vanguard makes good use of its Grapnel Launcher to close in and deal tremendous damage in melee. Although limited in range, it is arguably more maneuverable than the Assault class and is rather easier to learn. Make good use of this class by targeting enemy ranged attackers and high-value targets.
The Vanguard is a good counter to enemy snipers, provided that you can get in range for the grapnel launcher. Snipers rarely win melee encounters and the Grapnel Launcher’s ability to instantaneously close in can be pretty dangerous to range specialists.
