To nobody’s surprise, another Star Wars Battlefront game is coming from EA and it will be released on November 17. Two years after the first reboot, the game will serve as a taste-test for the upcoming eighth (main storyline) film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Check out the trailer below:
If we base on the trailer, we can say that the developers have finally fixed the issues that marred the first game. If you’re not familiar with it, absent in the first Star Wars Battlefront are land/air battles, space battles, and finally, a singleplayer campaign. We reviewed it back in 2015 and while it was fun, it wasn’t really something you’d play for a long while.
According to the Press Release, the campaign will feature a new perspective, plunging players into the suits and armor of the Empire’s special forces. Also, the multiplayer will span across three eras: Episodes I-III, IV-VI, and the present era. The game’s multiplayer will support up to 40 players.
The game will be available on the PC (via EA Origin), PS4, and Xbox One. Players who wish to experience the game first (on November 14) before others can do so by purchasing the Deluxe Edition.
I do have high hopes for this game and hopefully, Star Wars Battlefront II will prove to be one of the best games of 2017. *Fingers crossed*
