The Steam Deck OLED is coming to the Philippines thanks to Datablitz. According to their Facebook post, the OLED variant of the Steam Deck will start at PhP 39,995 for its 512GB model.
The Steam Deck OLED is a revamp of the original Steam Deck. Its 7.4-inch display is now an OLED panel at a resolution of 1280 x 720 and support for HDR. Its design might be the same as the original but there are several improvements under the hood including a new custom SoC from AMD powered by four Zen 2 cores and an RDNA 2 GPU with 512 stream processors.
Other improvements include a 50Whr battery that when paired with the OLED screen and more efficient CPU, could up its battery life by up to 50% than before. It will also sport WiFi 6E for faster downloads, a better touchscreen, and easier repairability.
The Steam Deck OLED will start at PhP 39,995 in the Philippines according to Datablitz. Two versions are available: 512GB for PhP 39,995 and 1TB for PhP 49,995. You can now get the handheld via their stores or through their official website but you may need to confirm its availability first.
