LG’s G5 and friends and Samsung’s S7 / S7 Edge are acts that are pretty hard to follow. But Japanese giant brand will not be pushed over by the Korean giants with the announcement of their new mobile phone series, the Sony Xperia X.
Sony’s Xperia X series will involve three models, the Xperia X Performance, the Xperia X and the Xperia XA. The three devices will all have 5″ display with Full HD and HD resolutions. The X Performance will be powered by a Snapdragon 820, while the Xperia X by a Snapdragon 650 and the latter with MediaTek MT6755. Both the Xperia X performance and the Xperia will get a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage with microSD expansion support. While the Xperia XA will only be getting a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage; but still with a MicroSD support.
On the camera side, both the Xperia Performance and Xperia X will don a powerful 23MP rear camera and a rare 13MP front facing camera with 2,700mAH of battery support. The Xperia XA will have a 13MP rear camera with 8MP front camera at 2,300mAH battery.
The three units having 5″ inches of screen looks almost identical. The distinguishing factor for the Sony Xperia XA is the power button on the side.
