Remember the iPhone SE? It was released around this time last year ago. You may be expecting for the next iteration of it, but nope, Apple is done with that. You may also be expecting a new iPad Pro or a new MacBook with more ports, but sadly, they didn’t. Instead, we all get a red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus! Exciting right? Nope.
Available for purchase on March 24 in 128GB and 256GB (similar to the Jet Black iPhone 7), the new color is done in partnership with AIDS charity (RED), an organization Apple has worked with for more than ten years.
Apple already did this kind of special partnership with (RED), ranging from a red iPad Nano to a red iPad case to a red Apple Watch Band. They even did a special promotion in the App Store where proceeds of certain apps went to the organization back in 2014. But this is the first time we’ve seen the big company do a special color for a flagship phone.
And yes, no noticeable changes for the newly released iPhone aside from the color. It’s exactly the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus that has been for sale for the last six months. It’s just red.
If you are wondering how much, here are the prices
Just remember that every purchase contributes to the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS programs and help deliver an AIDS-free generation.
