Taking better portraits just became easier with Instagram Focus. Rolling out as part of their 39.0 update, Focus will now allow users to take better selfies with a blurred background to let you pop out even more out of your photos.
Instead of using dual camera to take blurred backgrounds, Instagram’s Focus now uses an algorithm to separate your face from the backdrop. Focus is now available on iPhone SE, 6S, 6S+, 7, 7+, 8, 8+ and X as well as on select Android devices.
