The Tecno Phantom V Flip is expected to arrive in the Philippines soon. It is positioned as one of the most “affordable” clamshell smartphones in the market while still packing pretty decent features.
The Phantom v Flip comes with a 6.9-inch 2640 x 1080 LTPO AMOLED foldable display that can switch from 10Hz to 120Hz to save battery life. Folding it reveals a 1.32-inch 466 x 466 AMOLED cover display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Tecno says that its hinge lasts for more than 200,000 folds for durability.
As for cameras, the smartphone has a 64MP f/1.7 main camera and a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide at the back, as well as a 32MP f/2.45 front-facing camera on the main display. You can take selfies with the rear cameras using the cover display as a screen if you want more options for photos.
Tecno has equipped the Phantom V Flip with a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will also come with a 4,000mAh battery with 45W SuperCharge and runs on HiOS 13.5 based on Android 13.
