The Tecno Phantom V Fold has arrived in the Philippines and it sets to disrupt the foldable market with a rather attractive price point but still packing all the flagship features we expect from a flagship device.
The Phantom V Fold packs in a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its display is a 7.85-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED while its cover screen is a decent enough 6.42-inch FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel with Gorilla Glass Victus.
The foldable has two selfie cameras – a 32MP f/2.5 shooter when folded and a 16MP f/2.5 lens when unfolded. Its triple rear cameras are composed of a 50MP f/1.9 main lens, a 50MP f/2.0 telephoto, and a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide placed in a circular island at the back.
It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W SuperCharge but there’s no support for wireless charging. The smartphone will run on Android 13 with Tecno’s custom HiOS 13 Fold specifically designed for its foldables.
