The Tecno Spark 30 has made its global debut over in Tanzania. While it’s a fairly regular upper entry-level smartphone, it does have some attractive features including a surprisingly capable main camera – at least on paper.
The Tecno Spark 30 comes with a 64MP Sony IMX682. While its sensor have matured, it has powered midrange devices in the past such as the realme 7 Pro. It is being paired with a 13MP front-facing camera on its 6.78-inch 2460 x 1080 90Hz display.
Inside its chassis is a MediaTek Helio G91 chip with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It is being powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging through its USB-C port.
Tecno also throws in dual stereo speakers, IP64 dust and water resistance on its chassis, and Wet and Oily Touch Control support on its display. It will run on Android 14 out-of-the-box.
While the Tecno Spark 30 has officially made its debut, official pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
More details will hopefully unveil themselves soon. Stay tuned.
