1. Final Fantasy VII
It has been a very long wait, but SquareEnix’ best Final Fantasy game has been revealed to have a huge remake. Take note that this is not a remastered Final Fantasy VII but a remake. We have seen countless remakes that did not stay true to the original form, we might see a prequel or a sequel. But in this particular case, we were already given a prequel through the Crisis Core and the E3 trailer suggests that Barret Wallace and his Gatling Gun together with Cloud Strife and his Buster Sword will be back. No other characters were revealed but a sequel is plausible. Other than a sequel, Square could also remove other elements of the game such as some characters, like Yuffie or Cid, and even bump off some mini games. We really do not care, but until this game comes out, hold onto your PS4.
2. The Last Guardian
From the makers of the Shadow of the Colossus, one of the most awaited game is their follow up game The Last Guardian. If it follows the same formula as the Playstation 2 Shadow of the Colossus action-adventure genre which had outstanding visuals for the environment; great control; and superb story-line , then it should be a no brainer to get this game for PS4. The game is slated for a 2016 release, hopefully this time it’s really ready.
3. Star Wars: Battlefront
Yes, there are alot of futuristic shooters out there, but fighting for what’s right is better than anything. Star Wars fans need to grab hold of this game as soon as it comes out. DICE, EA is working with Lucas Films to make this thing happen so expect a lot of content like any Battlefield games you have ever played. Imagine Battlefield in other planet with laser guns and X-Fighters rather than warplanes? You can’t? Well, that is why they are making this game.
4. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain
Oh come on! Just give it to us! It’s been three E3s already! I predict that this will be another cinematic heavy Metal Gear Solid, so make sure you get your popcorns ready for this one.
5. Mass Effect: Andromeda
To add to one of the best franchise this world has ever seen, Mass Effect: Andromeda will be the sixth gaming title under the Mass Effect. No word yet if this would be related to the Mass Effect Trilogy, but it is said that rather than taking place on the Milky Way galaxy where the trilogy was set in, this will take place around the Andromeda Galaxy. Furthermore, the Mako will make a return. Hopefully, EA could give justice and make this one as memorable as Mass Effect 2. The game is slated to be released next year.
