The ASUS ProArt StudioBook 16 3D OLED is a glasses-free 3D laptop

-

3D has nearly disappeared from consumer products in recent years especially on TVs. ASUS, however, is stepping back and implementing the technology on the ASUS ProArt StudioBook 16 3D OLED. Unlike previous executions, however, the notebook is able to display 3D content without needing glasses.

Its screen is a 16.0-inch 3200 x 1200 120Hz 3D OLED panel. It’s able to project 3D objects without glasses by individually tracking your eyes. The display can project slightly different images to get the effect of 3D. It’s hard to see in photos but the projection is quite impressive especially for a portable device.

If 3D is not your thing, the panel itself is also impressive with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and the deep blacks of an OLED screen. As most of ASUS’ notebooks, it also comes with Pantone Validation for better colors.

For performance, ASUS is equipping the notebook with an Intel Core i9-13980HX, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and two 4TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 drives in RAID 0. You can upgrade the RAM and storage as they provide you two slots for each.

I/O options are expansive. The notebooks include two Thunderbolt 4 ports with support for charging and display, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm combo jack, a DC-in for 240W charging, a gigabit Ethernet, and an SD Express 7.0 card reader. They also include the ASUS Dial for precision work for editing videos or photos.
