ASUS has partnered once again with AMD to bring a new batch of Ryzen-powered notebooks to its beloved gamers. Composed of the more powerful ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY and the wallet-friendly TUF Gaming X570, both notebooks aim to bring back AMD to the gaming notebook space.
ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY
Gaming notebooks might already cost a pretty penny but those who have 120Hz displays still has quite a premium over their 60Hz counterparts. Priced at PhP 39,995, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY is one of the cheapest notebooks with a 15.6-inch NanoEdge 120Hz display with FreeSync.
To run demanding games, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY is an AMD Ryzen 5 R5-3550H with 4GB of RAM running at 2666Mhz. Providing pixel pushing prowess is a Radeon RX 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM courtesy of AMD.
A 1TB HDD has also been thrown in the package with a possibility of upgrading to a faster storage solution with an M.2 slot.

As one of the cheapest notebooks with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, the ASUS TUF Gaming X570ZD is one of the most cost-efficient gaming notebook from ASUS yet.
Despite its relatively budget PhP 37,995 price point, the X570ZD still packs quite a punch. Inside is an AMD Ryzen R5-2500U with 4GB of RAM running at 2666MHz.
It’s display is a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Files and games are stored in a 1TB HDD although there is also a possibility of upgrading the storage with its M.2 slot.
