Previous releases for the ASUS ZenScreen has mostly stuck to laptops and PCs. ASUS is bringing their portable monitors to more portable products such as smartphones and tablets with the ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT.
The ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT comes with a FullHD IPS screen encased in a 900g and 9mm body. This allows the display to be portable and easy to carry. Inside its chassis is a 7,800mAh battery that promises up to four hours of mobile productivity.
As the name suggests, the display is touch-capable with support of up to 10-point touch, swipe, drag, scroll, and pinch gestures for better interactivity with the screen. This addition of touch input lets users to edit photos, videos, and documents with ease.
Android smartphones can control the display and control of applications thanks to the ZenScreen touch app. Virtual keys such as Back, Home, Recent, and Rotation can also be used for a better mobile experience.
The ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT features a hybrid-signal USB Type-C and Type-A connectivity. This allows the devices to draw power, and send and receive video signals over a single cable. If you’re missing a Type-C cable, the device can also be plugged into devices via a microHDMI port.
