Flip phones have been making a comeback for a couple of years now given that Samsung is on their 6th generation of modern Flip phones. Most of them are placed at a flagship price. Even the Tecno Phantom V Flip can still be heavy on the wallet even after several price cuts. Itel, however, have different plans with the itel Flip 1 with its modern flip design on a feature phone.
The itel Flip 1 does have a chunkier look compared to its contemporaries, but it does look fashionable nonetheless. When you look beyond its looks, however, is an entry-level feature phone. It packs in a 2.4-inch LCD screen, a keypad, and an internal memory that can store up to 2000 contacts and 100 messages.
There are some modern touches including USB-C charging for its 1,200mAh battery and Bluetooth connectivity. It also supports dual SIM slots and a camera though the brand didn’t get into specifics on the latter.
The itel Flip 1 is currently up for sale in Pakistan for PKR 6,499. When directly converted, it’s positioned at around PhP 1,300. No word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines.
