Jabra has officially launched the PanaCast 40 VBS in the Philippines, an Android-powered video bar specifically designed for small meeting rooms with a 180° FoV. It’s been built upon the innovations from the PanaCast 50 VBS in a more compact and less expensive package.

Thanks to its 180° FoV, it can be positioned against the wall and its dual 8MP camera system can see the room from each corner. As for audio, it comes with a high-quality speaker with six microphones with adaptive beamforming and audio algorithms that enhance voice pickup to enhance audio clarity. It can also be mounted via wall bracket, tripod, or through its table stand to suit the needs of your room.

Jabra is also throwing in several AI features to optimize the experience. Its AI Director automatically zooms in at the person talking in the room and it can automatically track up to 4 guests in the room. If the room isn’t full, its camera will zoom in to the subjects to make the meeting immersive and remove empty spaces in the screen.

The PanaCast 40 VBS supports Android, Microsoft Teams, and BYOD deployments. Its box can be accessed without being fully open for easier IT adjustments before the actual deployment as to not lose any accessories while in transition. There’s also up-to-date manageability through Jabra+ software and reassurance of their Jabra Warranty+ services.

Jabra Country Head Larsen Sandoval said “The Filipino workplace is undergoing a transformation, with many organizations reimagining how their spaces can drive productivity and collaboration. It’s high time that small rooms, phone booths, and huddle spaces—cornerstones of this evolution—be utilized efficiently as the world of work shifts to a more hybrid and remote setup. With the PanaCast 40 VBS, we’re addressing this gap by delivering a flexible, intuitive, and future-proof Android solution that empowers teams to collaborate seamlessly, regardless of room size or platform preference.”

The Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS is priced starting at PhP 110,000 in the Philippines. The speaker/camera unit is priced at PhP 110,000 while its Android Jabra Control IP will have an additional PhP 55,000 premium. Both will come with up to a 3-year warranty through Jabra’s Warranty+ services.
