Reports from XDA Developer have discovered that both the LG V20 and the LG G5 has been removed from LG’s Security Bulletin page. It seems that both smartphones have had their last update back in December 2018.

Both smartphones were released back in 2016 and has been updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. With their removal from the official update list, both the V20 and G5 will no longer be officially supported by LG for Android 9.0 Pie.

At this time, the brand will be moving forward with supports for the existing smartphones which include:

  • LG G6
  • LG G7
  • LG V30
  • LG V35
  • LG V40
  • LG CV1
  • LG CV3
  • LG CV5A
  • LG CV7A
  • LG LV7
  • LG LV9
  • LG Stylo SF3
  • LG Q6
  • LG Q8

Supported smartphones will receive their respective updates depending on LG’s discretion.
