Nokia has just announced their most affordable smartphone part of the Android One program: the Nokia 2.2. Packing decent enough specifications such as a 5.7-inch display and a Helio A22 chip, the whole device costs just around USD 100 (PhP 5,200).
To save productions costs, the Nokia 2.2 doesn’t ship with a traditional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. At the top of the smartphone’s rear is a 13MP main camera with an LED flash. The company is also treading back to its roots by placing a removable rear on the smartphone to mix and match rear covers.
The smartphone is running Android 9.0 Pie. As part of the Android One program, the Nokia 2.2 is assured at least 3 years of software updates.
