While the OPPO A3s has been ousted as the best-selling budget smartphone a couple of months ago, OPPO has been busy at work to release a brand new budget champion. Today, they are announcing that the OPPO A5s has hit the market.
The OPPO A5s aims to satisfy the needs of those who are looking for high-quality yet reasonably priced smartphones. The device comes with a 6.2-inch waterdrop display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1520 x 720 resolution. The display has an 89.35% screen-to-body ratio the lets users enjoy an immersive experience.
At the rear is a mirror-finish with a frosted texture design to give off a premium feel. Photos are taken with a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup at the back and an 8MP f/2.0 shooter at the front. OPPO has added stabilization on the cameras to allow stable video shooting.
Inside the OPPO A5s is a MediaTek MT6765 chip paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The whole device runs off a 4,230mAh battery that can be charged via a MicroUSB port.
The OPPO A5s runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2.1. The brand has included AR stickers to let its users have fun with their photos and videos.
