The OPPO Find N5 is the thinnest foldable yet

The OPPO Find N5 has officially launched, and takes the crown as the thinnest foldable in the market. Though its chassis is only 4.21mm thin when unfolded, it still packs plenty of flagship-level horsepower under the hood.

OPPO is able to slim down the Find N5 thanks to its titanium alloy hinge that’s 26% smaller compared to the Find N3. The device is more durable with its 7000 series aluminum alloy, which results in 30% increase in strength while its cover display has a nanocrystal glass protection for 20% improvement in drop resistance. The chassis itself is rated for IPx8 and IPx9 water resistance for stronger shielding from the elements.

Its hinge also helps minimize the crease on its 8.12-inch 2480 x 2248 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2450nits. At the other side of the device is a 6.62-inch 2616 x 1140 120Hz AMOLED cover display with 2100nits peak brightness.

As for cameras, the Find N5 will come with lenses with Hasselblad branding as expected from a flagship foldable. At the vack is its 50MP f/1.8 main, a 50MP f/2.7 telephoto, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide shooters. Both displays come with their own dedicated 8MP f/2.4 front-facing shooters.

Powering the Find N5 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also gets a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC for charging.

OPPO ships out the foldable with Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0.1, and promises 4 Android updates and 6 years of security updates.

The OPPO Find N5 is priced at SGD 2,500 over in Singapore. The device is placed at the PhP 103,000 mark when directly converted. No word yet if OPPO will brin their latest flagship to the Philippines.
