The ASUS ROG Zephrus M, new Scar and Hero editions, and the TUF series might all look like good gaming laptops while on-the-go. But what if you wanted even more performance? Well, the ROG Chimera G703 aims to deliver. Inside the Chimera is Intel’s i9-8950HK 6-core, 12-thread processor that can boost up to 4.3GHz on all cores.
The Chimera doesn’t stop with just the CPU alone. The notebook comes with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8GB of GDDR5X RAM, 64GB of RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, and 2TB of HDD storage. The display is also overkill with a 17.0-inch IPS display with 100% sRGB as well as G-SYNC.
ASUS’ other Coffee Lake-H notebooks, the ROG Chimera G703 comes with a 12V fan that allows 45% better airflow to cool all the high-end components inside the chassis. Of course, it is also backed up by the ASUS AURA Sync SDK that will allow you to synchronize all RGB effects from your ASUS peripherals.
There’s no official price yet for the ROG Chimera G703, but here are the models that are sure to arrive this April.
