The Vivo V15 Pro and its 32MP pop-up camera has arrived in the Philippines

After its international launch back in February 20, 2019, the Vivo V15 Pro has finally arrived in the Philippines. Packing features such as a pop-up selfie camera, an all-screen display, and a triple camera setup at the rear, Vivo is aiming to step up their smartphone game this 2019.

Basically a budget-friendly NEX, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch 2316 x 1080 SuperAMOLED FullView display with DCI-P3 coverage. Unlike previous models, however, the display is actually all-screen. There are no notches or top and bottom chins to be found here.

The display also supports under-the-display fingerprint scanning: a technology Vivo introduced to the market with the X21. Since the fingerprint scanner is integrated on the display, there are traditional scanners at the back.

Since there are no notches to place the front-facing camera, the Vivo V15 Pro has a pop up camera that rises up whenever it is activated from the camera app. The motorized pop-up camera is a 32MP f/2.0 shooter that supports HDR and 1080p video at 30fps.

The rear is primarily made of plastic. Despite that Vivo has still managed to bring a beautiful and shiny design on the V15 Pro. Breaking up the backpart of the smartphone is a triple camera setup composed of a 48MP f/1.8 main camera with a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor as well as an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor.

The Vivo V15 Pro is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675AIE octa-core chip with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device comes with Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch 9.0.

The smartphone is powered by a non-removable 3,700mAh battery that is charged by a MicroUSB connector at the bottom. Despite the aging port, the Vivo V15 Pro does still support 18W Fast Charging.
