TNT has released their own 5G smartphone in the Philippines dubbed as the TNT Panalo Phone 5G. The device is a budget-oriented smartphone packing modest specifications, but comes with 5G connectivity at under PhP 4,000.
We can’t quite make out the brand TNT is using for their budget smartphone, but it seems that it will come embossed with the telco’s branding.
Its specs sheet on their website says that the TNT Panalo 5G smartphone will come with a 6.517-inch display, a 13MP main camera with a 2MP macro lens, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. The device will also support USB-C charging, WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The device will run on Android 14. They did not indicate the chipset being used by the device, but it’s safe to assume that it’s going to be a Unisoc chip like most of budget Android smartphones in recent years.
TNT is throwing in a free 5G SIM card with the smartphone with up to 21GB free data as well as free call and texts to all networks for 7 days.
You can now get the TNT Panalo Phone 5G through the Smart Online store or any Smart Store nationwide.
Both Smart and DITO have also launched their respective 5G smartphones in the Philippines. More details can be found here.
