TP-Link is officially bringing their range of WiFi 7 devices to the Philippines. Its latest line products include routers optimized for WiFi 7 and Tapo smart home device to set a new standard of Internet speeds in your home.
WiFi 7 represents the next generation of wireless networking as it offers 20% faster speeds than previous generations. Its newer technology and developments also result in reduced latency for ultra-responsive connections. It ensures smoother streaming, faster downloads, and lag-free online gaming.
One of the mainstream offerings for WiFi 7 is the TP-Link Archer BE230. It boasts substantial improvements from previous generations like Multi-Link Operation to manage multiple links simultaneously to enhance network stability and speed especially in places where network usage is high.
TP-Link says that transfer speeds is up by 49% compared to its predecessor. The router introduces Maximum Resource Utilization to optimize resource allocation and network efficiency. It supports OpenVPN, PPTP, and L2TP Over IPsec for compatibility for 3rd party VPN servers. It also uses Broadcom’s latest WiFi 7 solution to increase USB read/write performance by fourfold, meaning faster transfer speeds for USB devices.
Aside from the Archer BE230, TP-Link is also bringing in other WiFi 7-powered devices such as the Tapo C425 wire-free security camera, Tapo DS30S1, 2K 5MP Tapo Smart Battery Video Doorbell, Tapo C720, 2K QHD Smart Floodlight Camera, Tapo T100, and Smart Motion Sensor among many others. Most of these devices will hit the Philippine market this May 2024.
