Having these on and watching videos is a godsend. Not only can you isolate and listen to music/videos in complete privacy but you also get incredibly decent sounds at it. The buds themselves are surprisingly capable of producing deep bass. Not so deep but well enough to hear and notice them when playing music.
Energy Efficiency For Your Phone
I also found it to be more energy efficient to just use the UGREEN Hitune TWS as my audio instead of my phone’s speakers when watching videos. Instead of firing up the power-hungry loudspeakers, the wireless bluetooth buds can handle the audio, giving you more juice in the long run.
Workouts & Gym
Going to the gym and working out with the UGREEN Hitune TWS is doable and I encountered no problems with it. The fit is snug enough to not fall off during running and jump ropes. I even had it on with me while punching and shadow boxing. With certainty, the device is not prone to falling off during intense workouts. Just make sure that your earbuds are snugly fit to be safe.
Oh, and if you’re planning on using it regularly, do practice proper cleaning with cotton swabs and alcohol to stave off the rank smell.
Is It Waterproof?
Yes, this device is waterproof. The UGREEN Hitune TWS Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds are rated at IPX5. This allows it to withstand liquid splashes like rain and sweat. However, it is not rated to be submerged or used underwater like for swimming.
Sleeping & Ear Comfort
Another thing worth noting is that I found myself falling asleep with these things on multiple times. It doesn’t strain your ears and the buds feel light and sturdy enough that you don’t even have to worry about breaking it during your sleep. It’s so light and unintrusive that I sometimes even forget that I have them on. If you’re into meditation, this is a device that can help you with it.
Compatibility & Some Issues
For this review, I have tried the UGREEN Hitune TWS for both the Macbook and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I had no major problems connecting with both devices aside from the somewhat intermittent starts. For that I mean that there are times that the buds tend to not connect to my phone once I take them out of the charging case. However, this happened only twice and can easily be remedied by tucking it back into the case, then taking it out again.
Also note that once your charging case runs out of juice, you’ll be left with no means to turn off the buds unless you charge the case.

Affordable Quality Wireless Buds
The UGREEN Hitune TWS is hands-down a superb Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds. It is by no means cheap compared to the dozens of trash bluetooth buds littering the online market. For its price, you’re paying for earbuds that are on par to those from major manufacturers, complete with incredible build quality, durability, and audio. The quality and care that came with this product can easily be spotted by opening the box for the first time. It definitely feels premium without the exorbitant tag.
Aside from the commendable audio, the usage scenarios for this thing are many and you’ll find it very easy to have this on in different scenarios. It’s light and does not take much space, making it a good inclusion to your everyday gadgets.
Battery life is also something worth noting. Since I transferred to a different place, I wasn’t able to charge the UGREEN Hitune TWS for one whole week. With just one charge, I was able to use it for 3-4 hours nightly and about 8 hours for my regular workouts. Simply put, just one charge can get you a pretty decent mileage.
