Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce the official release of Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher on the Nintendo Switch™ on 20 October 2022.

The title is a collaboration between the Ultra Kaiju, which appears in the legendary Ultraman action programs, and the monster-breeding simulation title, Monster Rancher, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022. More details have been listed below.

To commemorate the announcement of the title’s release date, a new trailer for Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher’s launch has been released – featuring footage of the player raising Ultra Kaiju and competing in tournaments.

Kaiju: “Sevenger Giant of Light Skin”

A Sevenger painted to look like a Giant of Light. One can sense its strong desire to fight as bravely as a Giant of Light.

Raising Items Set 

This set contains six items that help you raise your Ultra Kaiju:

  • Giant Cake: A favorite among Kaiju. It has the ability to quell rage.
  • Gan-Q Candy: A sweet treat that looks exactly like a Gan-Q’s eyeball. It boosts accuracy.
  • Mandarin Juice: Juice made from the mandarin plant. It lowers fatigue and stress.

The set also contains items from Monster Rancher!

  • Silver Peach: A beautiful silver peach with the power to extend life. It can only be eaten once in a lifetime.
  • Kalaragi Mango: A popular fruit on the continent. It aids recovery.
  • Smoked Snake: A Mystic Snake that has been cooked until charred black. It can be used to train your Kaiju.

What Is Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher?

Using the game system of Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2 as its base, Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is an Ultra Kaiju breeding simulation game, which allows you to raise your very own Ultra Kaiju – be it an Alien Baltan, Zetton, or Gomora.
