Vivo Philippines is the momentum now to take over brands in the Philippies. They recently entered the PH early 2016, fast forward now they have released good competitive smartphones like the V3 Max and Y55.
This Q4 they plan to keep the momentum up with their latest mid-range the Vivo V5 with a 20MP #PerfectSelfie front facing camera. Bumping off similar competitor Oppo, Vivo is most likely gearing a more lifestyle-centric targeting to gain more customers.

Aside from the Vivo V5, Vivo also announced plans to expand nationwide in 2017 through all 65 SM malls nationwide. Better margins for 0% installment and even increasing service centers for better branding.
Vivo V5 is priced at Php12,990 with a 4GB RAM, Octa-Core Processor, 20MP Front / 13mp Rear camera and Hi-Fi Audio. We will try to get a review unit soon, hopefully we can give feedback within a week or two.
The V5 will be available in the market this last week of November 2016.
