vivo has showcased a suite of technologies at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 last March 25, 2025. These innovations include the vivo Robotics Lab, vivo Vision Mixed Reality headset, the Blue Technology Matrix, 6G advancements, and the upcoming flagship vivo X200 Ultra.
During the “vivo Release Moment” session at the Boao Forum, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at vivo, and President of the vivo Central Research Institute Hu Baishan stated that the mobile phone industry is a microcosm of China’s technological innovation, and their development reflect vivo’s progress in the sector.
He also stated that the mobile phone industry acts as an incubator for new industries. The advancement in AI and robotics, together with the mobile phone industry, could bridge the digital and physical worlds.
The speech also revealed that the brand has established the vivo Robotics Lab. Leveraging their “BlueTech” in fields like AI Large Learning Models and imaging, together with real-time spatial computing capabilities of the Mixed Reality headset vivo Vision, they will focus on the “brain” and “eyes” of robots. At the same time, they are focusing on the consumer market by developing robotic products for personal and home use.
With this momentum, the upcoming vivo X200 Ultra, which is slated to launch next month, will integrate their advancements in imaging.
