Despite previous marketing materials hinting at the launch of the Vivo V7 alongside the V7+, the V7 was strangely missing in the launch in Mumbai. Even the V7 was absent in the local release of Vivo’s latest smartphone. 
The brand, however, has started posting on early October promotional materials of the V7 alongside the V7+. We’ve yet to know the release date, but it would be a tactical decision for Vivo to release a little brother of the V7 globally.
At this time, only speculations have been made about the specifications of the V7. Latest news point at a 5.5-inch display and 4 of RAM while its juice will be supplied by a 3,500mAh battery. As for its processor, it would be possible that Vivo will also be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 that was used in the Vivo V7+.
Hopefully we’ll know more about the V7+’s sibling in the near future.
