The vivo V27 Series has officially launched in the Philippines. The company is bringing in two models: the vivo V27 5G and the vivo V27e – both of which come with the Aura Light Portrait System to improve their photography chops.
vivo’s Aura Light Portrait system is basically a built-in ring light on a smartphone for better LED flash performance instead of relying on a weak LED flash. They say that this system can provide softer light to make portrait shots clearer and more natural-looking.
The vivo V27 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz AMOLED display with support for HDR10+. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will come with three cameras at the rear – a 50MP f/1.9 main lens, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. At the front is a 50MP f/2.5 seflie camera and it will be powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge.
The vivo V27e shares quite a bit with the V27 like its 4,600mAh battery and 66W FlashCharge support. The display is also AMOLED and 120Hz but it drops HDR10+ support and it is slightly smaller at 6.62 inches. Cameras include a 64MP f/1.8 main and two 2MP f/2.4 secondaries at the back and a 32MP f/2.5 selfie shooter at the front. The chipset is now a MediaTek Helio G99 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
