The vivo V29 5G has made its debut in the Philippines just 6 months after the V27 5G arrived. It’s an iterative improvement over the previous model with a higher resolution screen, a different chipset, faster charging, and Aura Light 2.0.
Its Aura Light 2.0 claims to be brighter than before with a larger diameter LED that has a 36% increase in brightness. Taking advantage of its light is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome depth sensor. Meanwhile, at the front is a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen and a 50MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
The smartphone replaces the Dimensity 7200 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and increases RAM and storage to 12GB and up to 512GB, respectively. Battery remains the same at 4,600mAh but there is a bump in charging speed thanks to its support for 80W Flash Charge.
