The vivo V29 has made its debut in Europe. It makes several key upgrades including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset and a higher resolution AMOLED display but keeps the Aura Light feature from before.

Its main feature for photographs is its Aura Light function. The standard LED flash has been replaced by a 15.6mm light ring to improve low-light and night photograph capabilities. vivo says that it can create a 3D lighting effect and evenly illuminates to remove facial shadows and dark areas. There is some improvements over the V27 5G as they claim that there is a 36% increase in brightness.

As for the cameras themselves, the V29 will have a 50MP OIS main camera and a 50MP selfie camera. There will be e-SIM support and IP68 dust and water Resistance. Its 6.78-inch display has a higher “1.5K” resolution and runs at 120Hz. The Snapdragon 778G chip is accompanied by 8GB of RAM plus 8GB of Extended RAM.

vivo will be offering the V29 in two color variants: Peak Blue and Noble Black. Though it has been announced in Europe, pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed. There’s also no word yet when the device will hit the global market.
