The vivo V29e has made its debut over in India almost a month after the vivo V29. The V29e is slightly more affordable than its sibling packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and dual rear cameras with a 64MP f/1.79 main camera and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide.
The smartphone packs a 6.78-inch 2400 x 1080 Curved AMOLED display running at 120Hz. Just at the top is a 50MP f/2.45 selfie camera. Its design is what vivo calls “Artistic” and the Artistic Red variant is able to change from red to black when exposed to UV light.
Its Snapdragon 695 chip is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 and runs on a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W Fast Charging.

The vivo V29e is priced at INR 26,999 (PhP 18,500) for the 8GB/128GB version and INR 28,999 (PhP 20,000) for the 8GB/256GB model. The brand is offering it in Artistic Red and Artistic Blue colorways. It is now up for pre-order in India with sales starting on September 7, 2023.
No word yet if the V29e or the V29 will arrive in the Philippines.
