The vivo V40 Lite is finally arriving in the Philippines. As the more budget-friendly follow up of the vivo V40, it has big shoes to fill. Fortunately, they have equipped it plenty of likeable features for a smartphone. Here are just some that you may like.
Even though the vivo V40 Lite measures in at just 7.79mm in thickness, it still comes with a 5,000mAh battery. This should be plenty enough to get you throughout the day and they claim that it can last up to 15 hours of straight YouTube video streaming.
When it comes to the time that it does need to be charged, it supports 80W FlashCharge that fills up the battery to 80% in just 30 minutes and to full in around 43 minutes.
vivo is employing several features to keep the battery running for longer such as overnight charging protection, and a dedicated charging chip. To give you peace of mind in the long run, they are even offering a single free battery replacement if its battery’s health goes down to 80% if you pre-order.
Much like their recent entries, the vivo V40 Lite will come with an AI-powered camera system. Taking center stage is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide and a 32MP f/2.45 front-facing lens.
If you ever find yourself taking photos in the dark or an ill-lit environment, its rear cameras is complemented by vivo’s AI Aura Light. Unlike your usual LED flash, it’s able to be brighter and it can even match the temperature of the lighting leading to more natural-looking photos.
Have you ever taken an almost perfect photo, but there’s something in the frame like unwanted people or objects? You can still save the photo thanks to AI Erase. With the use of cloud AI, you can just circle things you don’t like in the photo and they will disappear, replaced with natural-looking replacements.
As usual, vivo has crafted the V40 Lite with a slim and portable design. Available in Titanium Silver, Dreamy Violet, and Dynamic Black, you’ll be able to find a colorway to suit your style. It’s also worth noting that the chassis is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance, making it more resilient for daily use.
Inside its sleek chassis is up to a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip complemented by up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. These promise smooth performance even when multitasking or gaming.
The vivo V40 Lite is now available for pre-order in the Philippines starting at PhP 13,999. Getting it early until October 31, 2024 will net you a free limited edition vivo TWS 3e worth PhP 1,999, a PhP 1,000 voucher, and vivoCare Plus VIP card with a 4-year battery warranty.
