The vivo V40 Lite is getting a time-limited discount of PhP 1,000 until April 16, 2025. This drops the device to only a starting price of PhP 12,999 from its original price of PhP 13,999 when it launched in the Philippines last October.

The vivo V40 Lite comes in two flavors: the 5G variant with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and a 4G model that comes with a Snapdragon 685 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Both models sport largely the same hardware. The two pack a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz AMOLED display with a 32MP f/2.45 front-facing shooter, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W Flash Charge, and an IP64-rated chassis.
Their highlight is the 50MP f/1.8 main camera backed with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide. Imaging performance is bolstered by AI Aura Light that lets you automatically adjust the temperature of the LED light to take properly lit portraits. You also get access to AI Erase that allows you to remove unwanted objects in the frame.
