The vivo V50 5G is a few days away from its February 17 launch in India. Here in the Philippines, however, the brand has already started pushing the device with early bird promos and challenges. Select retailers have also starting pre-orders for the V50 5G.
According to the retailers we were able to contact, pre-ordering the vivo V50 5G until March 14, 2025 will net you a pair of vivo TWS earbuds worth PhP 2,999 and, strangely enough, TechLife Bluetooth Speaker or TechLife Power Bank 10,000mAh.
Other retailers are offering the device with a free vivo TWS 3e worth PhP 1,999, a vivo VIP card with a 6-month broken-screen insurance and extended warranty, and PhP 2,000 off the device.
These stores say that the vivo V50 5G will come 256GB and 512GB variants priced at PhP 27,999 and PhP 30,999, respectively. If true, the V50 5G is only a smidge more expensive than the vivo V40 5G.
vivo India will be launching the device next week, but they have already shared some of its key specifications. It will come with ZEISS-powered 50MP front, main, and ultrawide cameras, a quad-curved display, a 6,000mAh battery, and IP69 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
Its launch event on vivo’s website also confirms that the handset will come in Rose Red, Starry Night, and Titanium Gray colorways. Its Rose Red variant will be called Ancora Red in the Philippines.
It is also rumored that the device will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.
The vivo V50 5G’s official launch in the Philippines is yet to be announced. Given its pre-order timeframe, its launch may fall sometime this early March.
