After a few weeks of teasers, the vivo V50 5G’s launch date in the Philippines has now been confirmed to be on February 27, 2025. Front and center among its colorways is the Ancora Red model.
Launched last week in India, the vivo V50 5G has familiar hardware but also some upgrades. It now comes with a 6,000mAh battery with 90W flash charge, and its chassis now comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
It will come with triple ZEISS lenses: a 50MP main and 50MP ultrawide angle at the back, and a 50MP selfie shooter. The imaging system promises crisp photos with CIPA 4.0 DSLR-Level Stabilization that reduces motion.
The rest of its hardware include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It will run on Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15 with 3 Android Updates and 4 years of security patches.
To make its arrival extra special, vivo is giving away a Gucci lipstick in Rosso Ancora shade. You’ll only need to show off your creativity through photo and video and submitting your entry on vivo’s official minisite.
