The vivo V60 has officially made its debut over in India after only 6 months after the arrival of the V50. Even though it launched within such a short period after its predecessor, vivo has found a few upgrades for the V60 including a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and a larger battery.
The V60’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset is complemented by up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Its battery is increased to 6,500mAh from its predecessor’s 6,000mAh, and supports 90W FlashCharge.
Its camera setup retains the ZEISS partnership of its predecessor and packs a 50MP f/1.88 Sony IMX766 OIS main camera, a 50MP f/2.65 telephoto, and an 8MP f/2.0 ultrawide. A 50MP f/2.2 selfie shooter can be found on its 6.77-inch 2392 x 1080 120Hz AMOLED display.
The vivo V60 runs on FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15 with a promise of four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Additionally, its chassis is rated for IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
The vivo V60 starts at INR 36,999 over in India with the top end 16GB/512GB option reaching INR 45,999. When directly converted, the device is positioned starting at PhP 24,000 while the high-end variant is just shy of PhP 30,000.
There’s no word if the vivo V60 is slated to launch in the Philippines. Given the brand’s track record, there’s a good chance that the device will arrive in the country soon. Stay tuned.
