With Vivo already placing ads for the upcoming Vivo V9, it seems that its latest flagship could launch earlier than expected. The rumor mill say that the V9 could launch as early this March 2018. Several leaks, however, have surfaced detailing more about the design of the smartphone.
Based on the leaks and the advert, the Vivo V9 will have a notched display with a FullHD+ resolution. Although it can be noticed that the V9’s display has a smaller notch compared to the iPhone X, which should deliver a higher screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo V9 will come with a 24MP front-facing camera. The rear, however, is rumored to come with a vertically-aligned dual cameras at the top right portion of the back. There’s no solid evidence yet what SoC the V9 could be using but it may use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or a Snapdragon 636 like the ASUS ZenFone 5.
