The Vivo V9 has finally arrived in the Philippines. After much anticipation and leaks from several sources on the Internet, the first notched Android smartphone is here. The latest flagship from Vivo, the Vivo V9 supersedes the V7+ with higher specifications, a bigger display at the same price.
The Vivo V9 comes with a notched 6.3-inch IPS display with 2.5D glass. Inside the Vivo V9 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB of internal storage that’s expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD slot.
The smartphone comes with dual cameras in the back; a 16MP f/2.0 primary camera and a secondary 5MP backed by an LED flash. This will allow users to take photos with better bokeh when both the cameras are working together.
Staying true to their commitment of taking great selfies, the V9 has a 24MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. Vivo has also implemented AI Face Beauty with the V to allow users to automatically get a decent level of beautification that will complement their face without being too cartoonish.
