Vivo has just revealed via their official Weibo account the official launch of their “Waterdrop” smartphone. Based on the post, their latest smartphone will be unveiled in China on January 24, 2019.

There aren’t much concrete information about Vivo’s upcoming smartphone. Rumors online say that the Vivo Waterdrop is a new design from the company, which will have an edge-to-edge display with no notch and bezels.
Despite the lack of information, it can be expected that the device will have flagship internals such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, 10GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Vivo may also include a better iteration of their in-display fingerprint scanner as seen from the Vivo X21 and NEX S. It seems that we may need to wait a bit before we discover more about Vivo’s upcoming smartphone.
